As of my last knowledge update in September 2021, the fastest methods for gaining Thieving experience (XP) in Old School RuneScape (OSRS) may have changed due to updates and balancing changes. However, I can provide you with some methods that were effective for fast Thieving XP at that time. Please note that you should always check the most recent in-game guides or community resources for up-to-date information on the best methods.

Ardougne Knights (55-99): At level 55 Thieving, you can start pickpocketing Ardougne Knights in Ardougne. These NPCs are found in various locations throughout the city and provide good XP. The XP rates increase as you level up, and you can achieve high XP rates here, especially with the use of the Rogue's Outfit.

Blackjacking (45-99): Blackjacking, specifically the method involving Menaphite Thugs in Pollnivneach, is a fast way to level up Thieving. It's very click-intensive but provides high XP rates. You can start blackjacking at level 45 Thieving.

Pyramid Plunder (91-99): At level 91 Thieving, you can enter Pyramid Plunder in Sophanem. This activity provides both Thieving XP and a chance to obtain the Pharaoh's Sceptre, a valuable item. It's less click-intensive than some other methods and provides decent XP rates.

Looting Chests (84-99): At level 84 Thieving, you can loot various chests around RuneScape, such as the Rogues' Den chest or the Taverley Dungeon chest. These offer a change of pace from pickpocketing and provide good XP rates.

Dorgesh-Kaan Rich Chest (78-99): At level 78 Thieving, you can loot the Dorgesh-Kaan Rich Chest in Dorgesh-Kaan. This method provides moderate XP rates and can be a good alternative if you want a change from pickpocketing.
Remember to bring the best Thieving equipment you have, such as the Ardougne Cloak, Gloves of Silence, or Dodgy Necklaces, as they can improve your success rates and XP per hour.
