Basic Info

K'ril Tsutsaroth is a strong boss capable of hitting up to 60 with his Melee attacks, 30 with his Magic attacks, and 49 with a Prayer-draining special attack that he occasionally uses against players who use Protect from Melee. K'ril's attacks are also capable of poisoning the player starting at 16 damage.His bodyguards attack from all three sides of the Combat triangle: Balfrug Kreeyath uses accurate Magic attacks, Zakl'n Gritch uses accurate Ranged attacks, and Tstanon Karlak uses inaccurate Melee attacks.

Kill Count

The 40 Zamorak followers kill count is quite easy to achieve although it will take longer than Bandos. There are several tips to get a quick killcount: 

Main room: The place north and east of the rope has Zamorakian followers fighting both Bandosians in the north and Saradominists in the east. There are two imps which can be quickly killed, and other followers such as Bloodvelds, Goraks, Werewolves and Icefiends battling Spiritual warriors and Spiritual mages.

Zamorak's Fortress: There are four imp spawns which can be quickly killed for kill count.

Attacking K'ril Tsutsarotha

A team of at least three people including a tank (i.e. someone with high Defence and good armour to take K'ril Tsutsaroth blows) is advisable. All players should use the Protect from Missiles prayer, except for the tank, who should use the Protect from Melee prayer. Team members can exchange supplies by either dropping them or trading whenever the room is cleared.

Having one player bring runes to cast High Level Alchemy on the many rune items K'ril Tsutsaroth drops can help to preserve inventory space.

Attacker strategy

A pair of players fighting K'ril Tsutsaroth and his bodyguards.

Only ever attack K'ril Tsutsaroth once the tank has attacked; otherwise, Graardor will focus on you. Extra care should be taken by players using Ranged, as it is easier to attack the boss first by accident.

Once K'ril Tsutsaroth is dead, kill the minion. Stand against the western wall while waiting for K'ril Tsutsaroth to respawn, as this gives the tank more time to draw his attention.

Ideally, melee attackers should use Karil's leathertop, a black dragonhide body, or Void Knight equipment instead of regular melee armour in order to mitigate the magic minion's attacks.

Tank strategy

As a tank, you are required to draw General Graardor's attention before he can reach any other players in the room. To do this, as soon as he spawns, activate Protect from Melee and engage with haste. Once K'ril Tsutsaroth is dead, kill the minions.

Gear Setup

The tanking player focuses on magic defence while using Protect from Melee to defend themselves against K'ril's powerful melee attacks. This will leave them vulnerable to his prayer smash attack however, so they should keep their health high to avoid being combo'ed out by the resulting damage from this attack and from minions. Players may maximise magical defence by changing their legs to ranged legs, but this will make them more vulnerable to Zakl'n Gritch's attacks

You should aim for Full Karils besides helm being a Serpentine Helm, Amulet of torture, Best in slot melee weapon you can and a bgs or dragon war hammer

The attacking player should focus on armour that will raise their strength and make them hit quite often. Bandos is quite good for this. Serpentine Helm, Amulet of torture, Best in slot melee weapon you can and a bgs or dragon war hammer.

If your tank wants to tank melee instead of mage they can focus on melee defence, players can use Protect from Magic to protect themselves from K'ril's magical attacks and his prayer smash. However, his melee attacks are significantly more accurate compared to his magic attack and have a higher max hit. K'ril's melee attack is slash-based, so high Slash defence is recommended.

Drops

There are 4 notable drops Zamorakian Spear (13m) Staff of the dead (8.7m) Zamorak Hilt (4m) and The pet which is 1/5000. There is a Troll drop which is 300k but has the same drop rate as the Zamorakian Spear
